The Terminator (1993)

From the Album Sunocide: Spaceship Earth
by Stone Age Time Machine

The city is deserted And the people have been hearded To a hideaway deep undergound It was in my dream An atomic scream The machines had come around The Terminator walked Where the firestorm talked And my brain lay on the ground That's when I woke with a start A poke and I fell apart I cried without making a sound There's a fire on the moon In the month of June When the radiator starts to boil But the blood runs thick When the skin is sick And the bones are all slick with oil I'm going away, to where the children play We'll find some place just for the day Before the white coats come take me away Don't you have anything to say? The Terminator's grip Like a lock on a ship Had me down in the depths of despair I called you by your name But heard nothing but the same And the blast of some long dead air Deep in the tomb Your body had no room There were bones piled up to the wall But the Terminator's jaw Was like an iron boot claw He caught me and I started to fall I'm going away, to where the children play We'll find some place just for the day Before the white coats come take me away Don't you have anything to say? But the Terminator's gun Flashed like the rising sun And the laser burned through my side I fought across the strip With a razor and a whip And a shotgun blast so wide The thing was liquid metal And I laid it on the pedal There was no place left to hide But the powder in the pill Let the terror have its fill And the Terminator finally died Yes he died! Died! Nothing's right and nothing's wrong Who's to say that I'm so gone When you find the Terminator at your door Remember me, I'll know for sure Is it him, is it him It's him! Run! I'm going away, to where the children play We'll find some place just for the day Before the white coats come take me away Don't you have anything to say?
